20,000 Commercial Swimming Pool During Puripool Process

There has been quite a lot of concern over the past couple of months about swimming in commercial swimming pools. Most people don’t think much about it because when the water is blue and clear they think everything is fine. The challenge with that thinking is you have no idea what could happen in that pool even with appropriate levels of sanitation. As for commercial properties that fail inspections, the biggest question is what to do now? The typical solution is to drain and refill a swimming pool because as stated above even with adequate amounts of chlorine these waterborne diseases won’t go away. This means downtime for the commercial property, as well as, the risk of damaging the surface of the swimming pool.

Due to extreme use, high levels of chlorine injection and our hard water in the Dallas/Oklahoma area it poses numerous problems for commercial swimming pools. Calcium hardness, total dissolved solids (TDS) and cyanuric acid (stabilizer) will rise quickly and put a commercial swimming pool at risk for being out of compliance. Weber Pools is a Greater Dallas/Fort Worth pool service company that specializes in working with commercial properties. We work well with numerous management companies of some of the largest luxury developments in the DFW area. Weber Pools is familiar with the property management process, and we carry the current pool service licenses and insurances required by most commercial facilities. In addition, we also are aware of all the current and ever-changing health department swimming pool requirements and processes.

So what happens when calcium levels rise or if TDS levels are above what is normally recommended? Typically, commercial swimming pools are larger which makes a drain and refill a several day process, it means downtime for the pool and because of the amount of water, there is always a risk of damaging the surface of the swimming pool. That’s why we use the Puripool Process which can help with the following:

  • Water Conservation – Saving a precious, and limited, resource
  • Less Chemical Demand and greater equipment reliability
  • No Down Time – Pool can remain open during treatment
  • Plaster is not exposed or compromised
  • Soft-water swimming experience

The Puripool Process lowers and removes the following:

  • Calcium Hardness
  • Cyanuric Acid
  • Borates
  • Salt
  • Iron
  • Copper
  • Magnesium
  • Algaecides
  • Sequestering Agents
  • Phosphates
  • Bacteria and Viruses
  • Total Dissolved Solids

By recycling their water, both swimming pools were left with perfect water chemistry. Some of the other benefits of using our services are the residents were able to use the swimming pool while the process was performed!!

Please keep in mind that Weber Pools offers this service in the Dallas Fort Worth area and in parts of Oklahoma as well. Can You Use Reverse Osmosis Filtration On Swimming Pools?

Our 40K Mobile Filtration Trailer

Simply put, yes you can use Reverse Osmosis filtration on your swimming pool water and we want this blog post to explain to you how it works and why it’s the best solution for your swimming pool. Weber Pools Mobile Filtration Reverse Osmosis (RO) treatment systems combine pretreatment vessels and RO systems in a single, self-contained insulated trailer.

Reverse Osmosis might seem like a complicated system, but it’s really quite a simple water filtration process. Reverse Osmosis has been used for years to desalinate water and convert it to drinking water. Most commonly, people are familiar with the under the sink RO systems. They are extremely common but are also extremely inefficient. The reason for this is due to water pressure. Simply put, the more water pressure, the less water loss.

Reverse Osmosis is a process in which dissolved inorganic solids (such as salts) are removed from a solution (such as water). This is accomplished by water pressure pushing the water through a semi-permeable membrane. The membrane only allows the water to pass through, not the impurities or contaminates (like calcium, total dissolved solids, cyanuric acid, waterborne diseases and salts). These contaminates are removed from the water as both of them are channeled into two separate systems. Ultimately, these contaminates go out a separate waste stream.

Our mobile trailers are completely insulated, they run day or night because they are no louder than an A/C unit.  They are equipped with a 3-Phase, 480V diesel generator, and we guarantee that the quality of water returning to your pool is better than tap. You can actually drink the water!! Due to the fact that we have booster pumps in our trailer, the water pressure as it hits the membranes is around 200psi which equates to conserving 85% of the water in the swimming pool.

The need for this service has never been greater than now. The concept of mobile filtration has been around for decades, and using it to purify swimming pool water is relatively new. When temperatures warm up, the risks of draining a swimming pool are high.  With our mobile filtration trailer we can lower these common contaminates in your swimming pool without exposing the liner.

So, why hassle with pumping the water from your pool, paying for the refill and then trying to figure out the complicated chemicals needed to rebalance your pool water, when Weber Pools can take care of it for you? In less than a day, we can filter your water and lower calcium hardness, total dissolved solids (TDS), cyanuric acid (CYA), phosphates, salt, bacteria, viruses, etc. and provide you with a clean, fresh pool!

Got questions on how Reverse Osmosis can work for your swimming pool? Please let us know!
