About three years ago we gave serious consideration to expanding our weekly service and maintenance business in the Dallas area. We specialize in wide variety of backyard needs but due to the drought and water quality issues we felt the need to expand our business so we bought our first mobile filtration trailer from Pure Water Industries in San Diego. The mobile trailer is equipped with a large Reverse Osmosis (RO) machine that has the ability to lower calcium hardness, total dissolved solids (TDS), cyanuric acid (CYA), phosphates, salts, waterborne diseases and so much more. It runs on its own power and can filter residential or commercial swimming pools day or night because it’s insulated and no louder than an AC unit when it is running. We can finish most residential jobs in less than a day and you can swim in the pool while the process is being performed.
As a Puripool Service Provider, we felt it was a good addition to the Dallas/Oklahoma market because we have had drought issues and due to the high number of fiberglass and vinyl liner pools (which are dangerous to drain) we knew this was a smart choice. Our water coming out of the tap is well over 300 parts per million (ppm) and most swimming pool technicians and pool stores will start recommending draining your swimming pool when it gets to be 600ppm and higher. As your pool water evaporates, the calcium and other hardness minerals remain in solution. When they build up, calcium will stain the tile, liner of your pool and your filtration equipment. At this point, you can drain it and refill it with moderately hard water or Weber Pools can come to your residence or commercial property and recycle it. If you choose to recycle your swimming pool, we will conserve up to 85% of the water and will leave you with drinking quality water in your swimming pool. Keep in mind, this process can be performed all year round, it never exposes the liner, which prevents possible collapse or cracking of the plaster, and the water quality will be much more enjoyable to swim in.
There has also been numerous issues with public pools and water quality. Specifically, the issue of waterborne diseases because individuals will urinate or defecate in the swimming pool. If this were to happen, it would be possible to filter our the most common waterborne disease cryptosporidium with our mobile filtration trailer, which not only saves the water but also time and money. For us, having the opportunity to provide swimming pool owners with a smart alternative and working with a great group of Service Providers all over the country made this an easy decision for us. So next time it’s time to change out the water in your swimming pool, call us instead so we can provide you with a much better service!
