The Puripool Process for Swimming Pools
The Puripool Process is an innovative method of recycling pool water through Reverse Osmosis filtration, UV filtration, and Ozonation. Puripool uses Reverse Osmosis (RO) filtration to lower/remove Calcium Hardness, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), and Cyanuric Acid (CYA). It also lowers other hardness minerals, salt, viruses, bacteria, allergens, phosphates, and nitrates. The recycled pool water that returns to your pool is RO quality water that is safer, cleaner, and healthier than your pool water has ever been
Why should I use the PuriPool process?
- Puripool is Eco-friendly, conserving a precious resource – WATER.
- Puripool gives you a better end product than a drain and refill
- Puripool is economical, the cost is similar to having your pool drained and re-filled.
- Puripool removes harmful contaminants.
- Puripool keeps your pool full of water which can prevent floating or cracking of the interior finish.
- Puripool usually takes less than 24 hours for residential pools and you can swim while it is cleaning.
From the day your pool is first filled, it is often above the standards for pool water chemistry in Calcium Hardness (200 to 400 parts per million, or ppm) and continues to increase as you remove water by getting out of the pool, splashing, or evaporation. In the Dallas area, the Calcium Hardness levels coming out of our tap is typically 300 ppm and higher. To replenish this lost water, additional hard water is introduced; raising the concentration levels of this hard water and creating a higher level of these minerals. As these levels incerase, it createsd hard water to the point where your chemicals can no longer do their job, dictating the need for higher chemical levels to keep the pool safe. Additionally, scale builds up on your interior finish, tile, pool plumbing, spillways, decorative water features, and filtration equipment. This heavy scaling can lead to expensive removal and repairs.
In the swimming pool industry, most pool professionals will recommend a standard drain and refill which can take on average 2-3 days. Not only does this waste on average 20,000 gallons of water but also puts moderately hard tap water back into your pool. Whereas, in less than a day, our mobile filtration unit will lower or remove the Total Dissolved Solids, Calcium, excess Stabilizer (Cyanuric Acid), Phosphates, Nitrates, Viruses, etc. We will give you back a clean, healthy pool; all while conserving nearly 85% of your existing water. Your pool will be as pure as if you had filled it with bottled drinking water!
